Fast & Furious 7 has become the quickest film to ever make $1billion at the box office globally - and is now the seventh biggest film of all time. The seventh film in the Fast and Furious franchise - which sadly was delayed due to the death of star Paul Walker in 2013 - has now made $1.153billion globally, and is still at the top of the US box office after three weeks of release.
Starring Paul Walker, Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, and Elsa Pataky, Fast & Furious 7 follows the crew of elite street racers who have secured amnesties for their past lives as criminals but who soon find themselves the target of a special forces assassin.
Paul, who was 40 at the time of his tragic death, had also starred in the franchise since its inception in 2001.
He was travelling as a passenger in his friend's Porsche in November 2013 when the sports car collided into a lamp post in Valencia, north of Los Angeles. Witnesses describe the car as being engulfed in flames and the pair died on the scene.
Paul left behind his girlfriend and teenage daughter Meadow, who has been taken under the wing of Paul's co-stars. The actor's friends and family have rallied behind 16-year-old Meadow and the young teen shared a sweet snap of the cast as they posed together at the Fast & Furious 7 premiere after-party last week.
