Style queen, Revlon brand ambassador and worldwide beauty crush Emma Stonechanneled Helmut Newton’s seventies' sirens on the red carpet at this year's SAG awards.
Nominated for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor In A Supporting Role for her work on Birdman, she wore a tuxedo jacket and Dior Couture gown. When it comes to make-up, HFM have the inside scoop on the actual products used to create her 'French editorial' inspired beauty look.
"We made Emma's lips a powerful, graphic statement," said celebrity make-up artist Rachel Goodwin. "Her red lip was the only colour. I applied Revlon Ultra HD lipstick in HD Gladiolus. The effect wasn't glossy, but wasn't matte – it had a creamy, luxe feeling."
Also used to achieve Emma’s power pout was Revlon’s ColorStay Lip Liner in Red, £6.99. To recreate her striking eye look, try Chanel’s Illusion D‘Ombre Long Lasting Luminous Eyeshadow in Mirage, £25 and Revlon’s PhotoReady Kajal Matte Eye Pencil in Matte Coal, £6.99, available from March.
