All eyes were on Angelina Jolie as she left the United Nations in New York City last week, where she was visiting in her role as a Special Envoy for the organisation's High Commissioner for Refugees. The mother-of-six, who is married to fellow Hollywood star Brad Pitt, was as elegant as ever in a cream pencil skirt and tailored blazer teamed with a chic top in a camel shade. She completed the look with a pair of nude patent stilettos and oversized sunglasses, adding a touch of sparkle with golden jewellery.

The courageous star has been inspiring women everywhere after she recently made the brave decision to have her ovaries and fallopian tubes removed as a preventative measure. The star, who also had a double mastectomy in 2013, has since spoken in general about facing struggles and learning to overcome obstacles. "I do believe in the old saying, 'What does not kill you makes you stronger'," Angelina explained in an interview with Elle magazine while reflecting on Louis Zamperini – the inspiration for her film Unbroken. "Our experiences, good and bad, make us who we are. By overcoming difficulties, we gain strength and maturity."
